Great for gaming

Attack Shark started out making budget gaming peripherals, but now they are dipping their toes into higher price point flagship items.I ordered the silver version of this mouse with the white tape. I don't think the mouse is actually carbon fiber but it gives off the feeling. It has a silver textured look and feel. I very much like the texture, it gives the mouse a good grip even without the tape. The silvery carbon fiber look is also eye catching. The mouse doesn't have RGB.The mouse is very light weight. I can easily lift it up without any strain. I have small hands the the mouse fits my hand well.I tried a three connectivity modes on my Windows 11 PC and they work as expected. I tested the web hub software, while it's not great it does the job. It allows me to adjust the buttons, profile, polling rate, etc. The battery life is good and can be better if you don't use the 8k polling. The mouse is smooth and the button clicks are satisfying. The buttons do have a bit of a hollow sound compared to my other mice. This is a little above the price point of a budget gaming mouse. There are cheaper options but this mouse does come with bells and whistles that justify its price point.

Feels lovely in hand as well as looking great. Response time improved by usb connection or adapter

I have been very impressed with Attack Sharks keyboards and mice and I ordered this RS3 Ultra from them. Its constructed of carbon fibre, has a scroll wheel and two left side buttons, as well as the normal buttons on the top of it.Its nice and light and easy to hold and move about. It looks really great with the carbon fibre look on its case.I tried it with bluetooth, connected directly to the usb port and via the supplied adapter.I ran a few response tests and found the bluetooth to provide the slowest response, and i found the direct to usb and the usb adapter to be almost identical, with in some cases the adapter giving a better response.Underneath the mouse is a switch for bluetooth, adapter and usb connection and a dpi button that changes the dpi through the range of 6 dpi levels.Alternatively, you can use the attack shark web driver or download the drivers directly, this allows you to make a massive amount of changes to what buttons do, dpi etc. In fact more things that I actually even understand. Its am expensive mouse but its very good quality and offers a range of connections, depending on how important a few milliseconds are, for normal office use it doesn't really make a difference, but for gaming, a few ms do make a difference. It comes with a usb a adapter, and a thick usb a to usb c cable for direct connection/recharging.In normal use, it holds its charge for at least a couple of weeks, hard core gamers, i would keep it topped up every day.

Great looking mouse with the performance to match

This is a great looking mouse in my opinion. It feels good in the hand and slides across my mouse pad without any effort, probably due to the large mouse skates on the bottom.I compared this mouse to one of my super light mice, and this one definitely has a little more weight to it, but it’s still on the lightweight side. The mouse has more of a rounded, bubble like design, and you can definitely feel that in the palm of your hand while using it. Depending on the size of your hand and your personal preference, it could fit your hand really well. I tried both Bluetooth and the included 2.4GHz receiver, and both connected without any issues.Overall, I think this is a fair value for the money. You get a good looking mouse with a good looking design, great performance, and both Bluetooth and 2.4GHz connectivity.

A Featherlight Powerhouse That Delivers on Every Promise

One of those rare products that genuinely lives up to its billing — from the moment it arrived, it was clear this is a premium piece of kit. Stylish, featherlight, and packed with features that serious and casual gamers alike will appreciate, it sets a high bar in the wireless gaming mouse category.Build & Quality:The carbon fiber composite shell is a standout feature — it looks sleek and feels robust despite tipping the scales at barely over 60g. The Glass-Feel Ice Coating gives the surface a cool, smooth finish that feels great to the touch, and the overall construction inspires real confidence. The CNC-machined scroll wheel has a satisfying, precise feel, and every detail speaks to a thoughtful, high-end build.Performance & Practicality:The responsiveness is exceptional. Optical switches deliver crisp, snappy clicks that feel both fast and durable, and the high polling rate options make input lag virtually imperceptible. The tri-mode connectivity — wired, 2.4GHz, and Bluetooth — adds genuine flexibility across different setups. Customisation through driverless web control is a smart touch, making profile tweaks quick and hassle-free without the need to install bulky software.Real-World Impressions:The ultra-low weight does take a small adjustment period, but once dialled in, it becomes one of the mouse's greatest strengths — gliding effortlessly with minimal fatigue during long sessions. The battery level indicator displayed via the receiver is genuinely useful, putting an end to surprise shutdowns mid-game. The scroll wheel rolls smoothly, and the buttons feel built to last for years of heavy use.Verdict:An outstanding gaming mouse that earns every bit of a five-star rating. Lightweight, highly customisable, and beautifully constructed — it's genuinely difficult to find fault with it. Whether upgrading from an older mouse or investing in a first serious gaming peripheral, this one is very hard to beat.

Very good GPX Clone But A Little Too Much

Please note that I have also reviewed the white version and updated the slight differences here, but overall they are 98% similar. As some may know, I despise this carbon fiber textured surface feel that a lot of mice are adopting these days. This mouse features it prevalently, however I do find the red version to be a little more smoothed out and hence less offensive to my hands. The stock skates on this are of high quality and I have no complaints. The main clicks use omron opticals, my favorite switches, and they are quite well implemented. The scroll wheel is solid overall, and the side buttons are fine but not the most responsive and a little mushy, appropriate given this is a Logitech GPX shape clone (not sure why X8 and RS3 are two different names of the same company's clones. On that note, it does have nice little side grooves as far as the GPX shape does, which is of course very shape and relatively universal. Build quality is solid, weight is a little on the heavy side, and overall performance was very satisfactory. All in all, if this was sitting at $80 and not $100, it would be an easy 5 star as this is one of the Attack Shark mice that falls into the very good category.

Solid mouse, slightly overpriced and regrettable surface feel

As some may know, I despise this carbon fiber textured surface feel that a lot of mice are adopting these days. This mouse features it prevalently which is unfortunate given the rest of the mouse is quite decent if not good. The stock skates on this are of high quality and I have no complaints. The main clicks use omron opticals, my favorite switches, and they are quite well implemented. ATTACK SHARK RS3 ULTRA

Attack Shark is my favourite brand these days. I have a full set up of their equipment. This mouse is the typical high quality I expect from them. The presentation is fantastic, making it a perfect gift if you choose. The unboxing is a premium experience, and the contents include the mouse, dongle, cables, manual and stickers. The mouse itself is comfortable and ergonomic. It's extremely lightweight, one of the lightest I've used actually. With 8k polling, it is highly responsive (less so if you use Bluetooth). It has a comically large DPI, which in my personal opinion isn't really needed (You'll find professional gamers actually using DPI in the 800s range), but it's customisable and there for those who want it.It has a lot of connectivity options, ranging from Bluetooth, wireless or wired. Bluetooth is convenient and works across most devices that allow for that; wireless gives you the responsiveness while obviously not having a wire get in the way, and wired is the most responsive, but the difference between the latter two is negligible for 99% of peopleThis is a really fantastic device. It comes in a range of colours, but at £79.99, it's not the cheapest. However, I do think it is worth the price and gives you everything you need. I love it and can absolutely recommend it.

An excellent gaming mouse that falls just short of top-tier

Having been impressed with a pretty basic Attack Shark mouse (the V3PRO) recently, I was pretty keen to see what the brand can do with their higher-tier mice.I had to apply grip tape to the V3PRO mouse and I was, and still am, not entirely happy with how it looked afterwards. With that in mind, I ordered the "B" RS3 variant as the product photos showed it with the grip tape already applied. Unfortunately, mine arrived without it attached and, just like the V3PRO, the tape was included in the box for you to fit yourself. I decided to leave it off this time and, in the end, I'm glad I did. The mouse already has enough texture to provide good grip. It isn't quite as grippy as the tape, but it's more than needed - and not having the carbon fibre aesthetic fully on display would be a crime. It looks absolutely fantastic. It is incredibly light and feels comfortable in the hand, the PTFE skates let it glide effortlessly across the desk, and the main buttons have a really satisfying click. The side buttons aren’t up to the same standard though, and lack the same substance of the main clicks. My biggest disappointment, though, is the scroll wheel. Don’t get me wrong, it functions perfectly well, but I miss both the free-spinning wheel and tilt-wheel functions I've become accustomed to on my Logitech G502X. That's very much personal preference rather than a fault with the mouse itself though.Setup was so straightforward. The web-based driver app detected the mouse immediately, so no need to install an actual app on the PC, and from there I had a huge level of customisation at my fingertips. The DPI settings alone can be adjusted in single DPI increments all the way up to a ridiculous 52,000 DPI. I genuinely can't imagine myself - or anyone, for that matter - ever needing anything close to that, but if you do, Attack Shark has you covered. The fixed DPI points can be switched within the web app, but I also really like that there is a physical DPI button tucked away underneath the mouse. Is it inconvenient if you switch DPI regularly? Sure, I’ll concede on that point, but I've lost count of the number of times I've made things worse mid-game on my G502X because I’ve accidentally switched DPI mid panic. So for me, the location is perfect. The other settings tune the mouse further, and as you'd expect, pushing everything to the maximum will reduce battery life. Even so, after several evenings using it as my main gaming mouse, I've simply been dropping it on charge overnight as normal and haven't managed to run it flat yet.The lack of wheel functionality made the mouse feel awkward at first, but that was just muscle memory. Once I adapted, the sensor performance was excellent. My aim stayed consistent at the same DPI, but I felt a bit more precision and control in micro‑adjustments. Is that just the “newness” placebo? Hard to tell without being more scientific with the tests. It isn’t all high praise though. As extensive as the customisation is on the web driver, the software feels like it needs a serious amount of further bug fixing and polish. The important functionality, in the main, works well, but some of the less critical features - like changing the theme or mouse sleep time - didn’t always behave as expected. Little things like this matter, especially at the upper end of the price this is currently being sold for.So to summarise, I’m impressed by the mouse, but I’m also reminded that choosing a gaming mouse isn't simply about buying the one with the biggest numbers on the specification sheet. On paper this comfortably out-specs my current mouse, yet in day-to-day use I just didn’t feel it delivered the massive upgrade I was expecting. And much of that is because comfort, button layout and familiar features matter just as much as, or even maybe more than, sensors, crazy DPI, and polling rates. It is still a great mouse and absolutely miles better than the V3PRO, but it is just not quite the no-compromise, polished flagship I was hoping for.

Very lightweight, no issues after two weeks of using it

I picked up this mouse for my son to replace his old Logitech G Pro that he's had for years - he already has the Attack Shark R68 keyboard and this goes great with it.At 64g, it's very light and I do live the textured carbon fibre design though I'm not entirely convinced as to how it feels - it does feel rather hollow and plasticy compared to my Razer Deathadder, though I guess that's just how the materials are meant to feel like. This connects either via 2.4Ghz using the included adapter, or with Bluetooth - I opted to use the adapter as it is just plug and play. The web based driver utility is very handy, and allows you to customise nearly every aspect of the mouse, from key mapping with macros, LOD, custom DPI settings (from 1.. yes 1! up to a silly 52000), refresh rate, and many other setting.Battery life seems great - my son has been using it for a solid week without having to recharge it so far! He's very pleased with this, he finds it a great replacement for his G Pro.I did read the review about the sensitive clickers, and having tested it myself VERY extensively just to be sure I did not miss it during testing, I could not replicate it no matter how hard I slammed it on my desk. It's a very solid mouse, I think it's great value for money.

Lightweight Gaming Mouse with Excellent Performance and Battery Life

This gaming mouse packs a lot of high-end features into a lightweight design. It feels comfortable in the hand, glides smoothly across a mouse pad, and is light enough for fast, precise movements during gaming without feeling flimsy. The sensor tracks accurately, and the high DPI range makes it easy to fine-tune sensitivity for different games or productivity tasks. Whether connected via 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth, or USB, the mouse responds quickly and reliably. Switching between connection modes is simple, which makes it useful for both gaming and everyday use.Battery life is another strong point. It lasts a long time between charges, and the included charging cable is a nice touch when it does need to be plugged in. The buttons have a crisp, responsive feel, and the overall build quality is impressive for the price. The RGB lighting is tasteful and adds a bit of personality without being distracting.Overall, this is a feature-packed gaming mouse that combines comfort, responsiveness, and versatility in a lightweight package.

Produit intéressant

Bon rapport qualité-prix !

This is probably the best gaming mouse I’ve ever used! It’s always cool to the touch, the sensor is immaculate, the clicks are satisfying and the wheel is very satisfying as well! The metal buttons and carbon fiber body make this a very premium feeling mouse. Using it with my Wallhack SP-004 and it’s super smooth!

Mr. Review

The ATTACK SHARK RS3 Ultra 8K Carbon Fiber gaming mouse is a well-spec'd mouse, albeit at a premium versus most of their line-up, with similar specifications, so I'm not sure if it's the carbon fiber aspect or included accessories as a whole which have determined the price here. That aside, the RS3 does feel good in hand and is naturally grippy due to the carbon fibre pattern. There is no "glass-feel" here whatsoever; it's absolutely a textured coating from top to bottom in an almost glittery silver finish. Bling! Bling! is what comes to mind when you first hold it in your hand. The build quality is very good, with no flex or creaks, and the weight is good at 63g but not what I'd refer to as an ultra-light mouse like the ATTACK SHARK F1 AIR at 39g in comparison. This mouse is best suited for larger hands that like a palm or claw grip. The PAW39055Max sensor delivers DPI natively to 40K and OC'd to 52K, both numbers that frankly are more marketing than real-world use, in my opinion. The optical microswitches are the gold standard, aka Omron and are clicky with a bit of an audible ting in use. The scroll-wheel is virtually silent, with just a subtle bump as you scroll. The shiny silver forward and back buttons feel tactile and not mushy. The RS3 Ultra is a very comfortable mouse to use for long gaming sessions, during my time testing it for review with games like Arc Raiders, The Division 2 and Crimson Desert, which are all relatively demanding games in terms of button usage and repetitive actions.Connectivity is tri-mode here, with a 2.4Ghz shark-fin inspired USB dongle, a black braided USB-A to USB-C cable for wired connection or Bluetooth. This bundle also includes an upgraded coiled aviator-styled cable, which you'd typically use with a keyboard, but can be used with the 2.4Ghz dongle without issue too. With no RGB lighting beyond the DPI indicator, the 500mAh built-in rechargeable battery should deliver ample battery life for long gaming sessions for weeks at a time. DPI settings, polling rates, LOD and other typical gaming customization settings are done within your web browser, thanks to the non-OS-dependent web driver. Most gaming brands seem to be moving to this option versus a dedicated app, and I'm generally good with not having to have another app running in the background.Overall, the ATTACK SHARK RS3 Ultra is a capable wireless gaming mouse with specs that match the more notable name brands, while still at a savings in comparison. That said, ATTACK SHARK frankly offers such a broad selection of gaming mice with very similar, if not identical, specifications, so depending on your hand size and preference for a textured surface versus a smooth one, you have options. Still a recommended buy, provided the RS3 carbon fiber like texture and larger size are what you are looking for, along with the bonus accessories like the included grip tape and aviator USB cable. The RS3 Ultra certainly is a capable mouse, just amongst a competitive gaming mouse lineup in general.
